Working with Transport for London(TFL) as an Health and Safety Business Partner supporting a competent team to ultimately replace and introduce 88 newly modern trains on the Piccadilly Line. I managed all the HSE/CDM aspects of 10 Substation upgrades across the London Piccadilly Line. This scope of work included the installation of New Transformer rectifiers HV, DC and LV Panels, SCADA. Installation of 100km HV and fibre optic cabling installation. Two large substation extensions providing space for new HV equipment- Hyde Park and Leicester Square. The upgrade of 4 new transformer rooms including integration in existing power network. 660V Power immunisation project – installation of LV main cables network and substation equipment upgrade between Sudbury Hills and Ealing to enable signalling to train. Ensured all necessary CDM Compliance requirements where addressed the pre-construction phase. Establishing a verifying CDM Client Briefs, Allocation of CDM duties, Competency matrix tools, Capability and Optimisation Tools. Reviewing of pre-construction information and Construction phase plans and carrying out Safety audits and inspections. Reviewing contractor procurement submissions. Reviewing all incidents and injuries and reporting into the board. Attending Gate control meetings at various points in the project lifecycle
